Wow! What a whirlwind 2020 was for us all…I took a browse back through the year and posted highlights from each month of 2020 to browse through. Although it was a challenging time, there were still so many moments worth remembering and documenting. I am so grateful for all the clients I got to work with in 2020 and thankful for the continued business, love and support in my photography career. I am looking forward to an amazing 2021 :)
Lily turned one and celebrated with a pastel balloon arch and a unicorn cake smash. She was my first session of 2020.
Madelyn celebrated with a fiesta first birthday
Haven turned 6 months and celebrated with her sister for this sweet session.
I got to meet Lacey after watching her big brother and big sister grow over the last few years.
Everett came for his milestone session and a little mix of some absolutely adorable Easter props. He tried to get away with no smiles but by the end that’s all he kept doing :)
Sheley and I captured her pure beauty while patiently awaiting the birth of her 2nd sweet little boy.
The world welcomed baby Rowan. She gave us a good mix of sleepy and awake photos and is loved dearly by her big sister Lily who I also got to watch grow. Right after Rowan’s session, Covid shut my business down until June and all my eagerly planned Easter Minis had to be canceled. :(
….after a long pause in working due to Covid shut down, I was able to finally fast forward a few months later from March to June and meet the long awaited little Wyatt. What a great way to begin working again :)
with sunshine and green grass, Nolan and I were able to get together to celebrate him turning 13 months!
I got to meet the beautiful little Aspen, who absolutely rocked her photo session.
Rhett turned one and I visited him at his home and captured his beautiful little self, mostly clinging close to Mommy :)
Clara turned 7 months and although it took quite a bit of time to get the water just the right temp for her, once we did she enjoyed a fun fruit splash and gave us lots of smiles.
We splashed along the river and captured some beautiful updated family portraits for Alivia.

Fall came around and did not disappoint…I got to capture this beautiful family as the leaves started to change. Fall is one of my favorites.

I got to spend a beautiful fall evening with a new family I had never met before, but hope to see again in 2021 :)
I had a spark of creativity fly through my veins and created some crazy awesome Halloween magic over the next following weeks…Sheley and Kayla helped as my models
The Soy changed from green, to gold, to silver, and the Paye family came back to see me again this year for more Fall photos. I took way too many, becuase as usual, I couldn’t stop snapping photos of them.
Dakotah and Daniel brought Wrenleigh back for more photos in the Fall and we had a beautiful fall golden hour session together. This image would turn out to be one of my forever favorites.
I was spoiled with this sweet little man in the studio. We recreated the baby bear picture to match his sibling.
Halloween minis would turn out to be an incredible success and SO MUCH FUN. They started with this sweet session.

An epic October family portrait

Before I knew it, October came and went and we were in November celebrating Lacey turning ONE
and then the Gladle family welcomed another sweet Daughter
and then just like that, we were in the middle of Christmas photos. Kicked things off with these sweet tin boys who had a blast in the studio eating cookies and playing with all the Christmas props.

The Frantz family came back to update their family photo as well before the snow started falling. It had been almost 7 years and I couldn’t believe how much the boys had grown.
I got to chase my niece around and capture her sweet and spunky 2 year old little self.
and it was right before this session that Nora told me the good news that she would be a big sister in 2021 :)
I squeezed in some Christmas portraits of my own two kiddos. They are always so good for me.

The Dusharm family stopped by to see me, and their little man was walking all around and smiling ear to ear the entire time. He grew so much in the few months I had saw him last. I love when I get to photograph them all.
The Sweeney family came back for their Christmas portraits.
My Niece and Nephew let me snap a few pictures of them on Thanksgiving. They grew from toddlers in the link of an eye. Madison and Jackson were my very first subjects when I started my photography career over 10 years ago.
I use to capture her splashing in her bare feet in rain puddles at age 2….and here she is as a teenager in the rain wanting nothing to do with this haha….but man is she ever beautiful.
This little sweetheart would end up being my last 2020 Newborn. He was such a good baby for his very first photoshoot.
The Pecori family showed up in matching Pajamas for their Christmas minis and made my entire November.
This beautiful Mama and her husband and two doggies wrapped up my 2020 beautifully. I will be sharing more of their session on my page as well, I have been slacking. Her session was amazing and did not disappoint. We waited patiently for the snow and we got to sneak these before it all melted away again.
Althought the Pandemic cut my sessions short and I had to end everything at the end of November, it turned out to be a great year filled with many beautiful memories captured behind my lens. No matter how tough the times are, and how bad the days may seem, there’s always something GOOD. Look for the GOOD in every single day and I promise you’ll find it.
Thanks to all my clients for a great year, and I look forward to seeing everyone again for 2021. It’s a slow start as I”m still not allowing any clients in the studio until things get a bit more safe, but hopefully it all ends soon. Enjoy your families, do your best to enjoy the winter, and stay healthy :)
