Before and After Haunted Halloween Image

I am so excited for my upcoming Halloween mini sessions at the end of October!
Here’s a little sample of “what you see vs. what I see”

Having been behind the camera for over 10 years, I know exactly how an image is going to edit, and what I have to do in camera to make it come alive post editing! For this one, I knew I wanted the light behind her glowing through the trees. I also wanted to under expose the image to help with the moody feel and to keep the shadows nice and dark. Her Cyan blue dress was turned to black and then the rest just came together!

I thought this was a fun image to show the before and after and a great reminder of the work and expertise that goes into creating images. It doesn’t just come with the push of a button! I look at every photo I take like a blank canvas set in front of me! I LOVE my job!
