Erin and I got together to take some photographs to use for her new blog, and to celebrate her, just because. We embraced the pouring down rain and scattered snow, and had so much fun!! What a fantastic approach to life! Why save feeling good about yourself for special occasions, when we should be embracing our life to our fullest potential by always loving ourselves, no matter what the circumstance. We are allowed to love ourselves, we know this, we want to...but it's one of the hardest things to do. Follow Erin on her amazing and insightful journey where she will inspire and encourage us all to overcome that fear.
"Lets get back in touch with reality and begin the journey of putting ourselves first. Lets get to know and love ourselves because we can’t truly love one another without loving ourselves first." -E
Cameron is 6 months old!!! We celebrated with a beautiful sun filled outdoor family session and a few indoor shots as a bonus :) It was the most beautiful April evening and then sun was just amazing!! I remember when I first started enjoying photography as a hobby I would avoid the sun at all possible costs. I loved cloudy days and over cast, because I was scared of the sun....mainly, I didn't know how to use it!!! Now I crave it. I'm a sun chaser. When I have an outdoor session without sunshine it really bums me out.
This is what I love to shoot.
Family, love, and sunshine.

Let's get together!!! Click on the link below to send me an email! Can't wait to hear from you!!
Emery. I can't say enough sweet things about her! I had so much fun watching her toddle around, babbling away, and using one little finger to lick frosting from her cake! She wasn't much interested in a full blown smash, but was more than happy to have a delicate taste!! I set up this pretty little backdrop for her after Mom sent me a photo of the tutu she couldn't wait to put her in! It all came together so perfectly.
We even got to spend some time outdoors. She wasn't too sure what to think of the grass on her feet, but it was almost 75 degrees, sunny, and mid afternoon, and we enjoyed the warm breeze while strolling around my property.
We also go her back into her Mama's wedding dress! It surely wasn't as easy as when she was a newborn, haha!
The very last photo in the series is a creative edit merging the two together for one beautiful keepsake!!
I was so excited to see this beauty for her milestone mini! As a one year baby plan client, I get to watch her grow, and I absolutely love it! The one year plan is my best seller. I am spoiled with so many little ones to admire as they grow from tiny little newborns, tositting, crawling little babes, to walking, running and babbling one year olds smashing cake! It truly fills my heart with so much joy!
Molly loved the camera. She rarely took her eyes off me! She was full of smiles, and on the move! For this session we brought back the tutu and crown from her newborn shoot to do a comparison shot (and we will do another at 1 year) so that mom has an amazing keepsake (The crown was used in her maternity, too!). She surely showed off her amazing expressions and personality for me!
A true little doll.
